Hi, I’m Naomi! I’m a 52-year-old social worker and mental health clinician based in Adelaide, South Australia.

I’m an animal lover and have two much-loved rescue cats of my own, Shimmy and Chilli. Over the years I’ve also had dogs, birds, and fish, so I’m very comfortable around different animals and understand how important it is to have someone reliable, patient, and caring looking after them while you’re away.

As a homeowner myself, I also understand the trust involved in having someone stay in your home. I’m clean, tidy, respectful, and would care for your home and pets as thoughtfully as I care for my own.

I’m a non-smoker and non-drinker, and I enjoy a quiet, relaxed lifestyle. I’m also fit and active, so I’m very happy to walk dogs and keep up with energetic pets.

Although I’m new to Mindahome, I’m not new to house and pet sitting. I’ve had several house sitters care for my own home and cats, so I understand the experience from the homeowner’s side, and I’ve also house sat and cared for my brother and his partner’s large dogs in Melbourne on several occasions over the years.

For extra peace of mind, I have a current police check through my work and am happy to provide this.

My partner, Kane (53, pictured with our cats and walking my brother’s dog) may join me for some sits in the future, but for now I’m mainly looking for solo shorter stays around South Australia. I love the idea of having a little “me time,” discovering new parts of the state, and, best of all, spending it in the company of some lovely pets.
