More information about this house sitter
Hi, I’m a fit, retired country girl from northern NSW. I’ve always had animals of all shapes, size and age in my life, loving their unconditional love and friendship.
I’ve had two magnificent dogs in my life, both Lab x Kelpie breed, one lived till 18 and the other 17 - I I feel very blessed to have had them each for so long! I miss their companionship and now that I’m retired and unable to keep dogs, I need to regularly get my “fix”!
My two children both have fur babies (alas no grandkids yet!) but I don’t see them much. My son and his family are moving to Hobart from America so for the time being, Tasmania is my focus. I don’t want to be in their pockets all the time and I like my space.
I’ve been a part of Mad Paws in Wagga Wagga, having dogs and cats come to my house, that was wonderful - especially after work, to come home to a friendly face.
I had several regular dog sits when friends were away on holidays, I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them. I did several farm sits for family and friends, exercising working dogs, feeding poddy lambs, chooks etc so very comfortable with pets of all sizes.
For my own time, I love doing puzzles, walking, drawing and painting as well as gardening - so rest assured, I won’t let your garden die! On numerous occasions I have had to administer medication, for dogs as well as horses.
I’m honest and reliable but with loads of good old fashioned common sense! Happy to arrive prior to the sit to meet with you and your pets. Contact me with any questions and I’m very excited to start exploring Tasmania. Read more...
