Alex and Elena

More information about this house sitter

We are a couple from Melbourne, both high school teachers. As registered teachers, we undergo an annual police check. Alex is a part-time teacher of Physics and Electronics; Elena is a full-time piano teacher. We are proud parents of two sons and grandparents of three lovely grandchildren. We are devoted dog lovers and have had dogs throughout our 50 years of marriage. Our current companion is Low Key, a 10-year-old whippet who lives up to his name as a very low-maintenance boy!
From 2016 to 2019, we had several opportunities to house-sit and care for other people’s homes and pets, and we truly enjoyed the experience. We took a long break from house-sitting during COVID and around the time our grandchildren were born. In 2027, we will take a long service leave and travel around Australia while house-sitting and caring for other people’s beloved pets and homes.
We understand how important it is to leave your home and pets in safe, caring, and responsible hands. We would treat your home with respect and care for your animals as if they were our own. We would be happy to answer any questions and provide references from our schools, as we currently do not have house-sitting references.
We look forward to the opportunity to care for your home and your beloved animals while you are away.
