Hi, we’re Josh and Amelia, a reliable and experienced couple from the UK who have spent a lot of time house sitting across Australia while travelling in 2022 and 2023. During that time we lived in Byron Bay for three months, then travelled across the country completing house sits in Ballina, Melbourne and Tasmania, looking after homes, gardens and a range of much-loved pets. With the Ballina sit asking us to extend our stay to continue sitting. We are coming back out to Australia and would love to do it all again.

We both really enjoy the lifestyle that comes with house sitting. We like keeping a home clean, tidy and well looked after, and we understand how important it is for owners to feel completely comfortable leaving their space and animals in safe hands.

Josh grew up on a farm, so being around animals has always been part of daily life. Between us we’ve looked after dogs, cats, horses and other farm animals, and we’re confident with feeding routines, exercise, basic care and keeping pets calm and happy while their owners are away. We genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so it never feels like a chore to us.

We’re both responsible, respectful and easy to communicate with. When we’re house sitting, we treat the home as if it were our own, keeping everything clean, secure and well maintained. We’re also happy to keep in touch with updates and photos so you know everything is going smoothly while you’re away.

We love the trust that comes with house sitting and take it seriously, and we’re always grateful for the chance to look after someone’s home and pets. Read more...
