Since leaving school I’ve always worked outside, mainly on the land but also many renovation projects and travelled . Born in Yorkshire, I worked as a shepherd before emigrating in 1981 and managing sheep stations in WA and NSW. My young family and I moved to the Granite Belt in QLD and established our own small vineyard and winery . The last six years I’ve been working in a cutting garden in Scotland. Working with animals and having pets has been a permanent part of my life .
