Aussie Lap Year Family 2026 from Perth

We are a family based in Perth, WA. We love travelling and are currently using our LSL to do a lap year around Australia. We and our four children (aged 5-11) love animals; big and small. Several years ago we sadly had to say goodbye to our beloved 16 year-old border collie, Theo who was very dear to our family. Before doing this road trip we had pet chickens and guinea pigs, which our kids were very fond of. We are a caring and gentle family who will love and look after your animals and property as if they are our own. We also expect our kids to be respectful and responsible when living in someone else's home. We have worked on several hobby farms (via WWOOFing) during our Lap Year which has given us extra skills on the road. I (Heidi) love gardening and would happily take care of both indoor and outdoor areas on your property. We are travelling in a caravan, so would need room to park it up while we're house sitting.
