Hi! My name is Elena, I'm 31, originally from Spain, Biology & English teacher back home (and still in my heart) and now doing different jobs around Australia. I love animals (especially cats!) and I am in Sunshine Coast until October.

I have done petsitting in Japan (a dog) and in Australia (a cat), and back home I offered to be foster family for rescued cats for two years. Took care of them at my home (usually just one at a time), took them to the vet when needed, fed them, changed litter, etc. I learnt every cat has their own personality! And with the last one, I stayed for almost a year! She´s made me fall in love with cats and the reason why I want to take care of them with all my love in return to her love (she´s now living happily with her adoption family).

When taking care of my friend´s dog and house for a total of two weeks, I had to follow certain instructions to feed her, and also hygiene rules by the neighbourhood, such as diluting the pee with water or carrying her on my arms when entering the building until we reached her apartment.

I'm looking for housesitting and petsitting jobs in Sunshine Coast during April and May 2026. I love animals, and I am clean, responsible, empathetic, communicative and respectful.

For me, housesitting while living abroad is my way to keep giving back to the world the love I received from the cats I took care of while working in Spain, my home country, and I can really feel they make my day and my life better. Now I´ve been living in Australia for two years, in Brisbane, Cairns and now Sunshine Coast.
