We are a relaxed couple who love nature, cosy homes, and animals.

Originally from Shepparton, Ben moved to Melbourne to pursue a career in squash. He now travels around Australia (and internationally) playing the sport and manages a squash court in Templestowe.
When he’s not on the court, Ben enjoys watching AFL, flying small planes, and drinking good coffee.

Kate moved to Australia from New Zealand after doing long-distance with Ben. She works from home as an occupational therapist, specialising in mental health and neurodiversity.
In her free time, Kate loves hiking, camping, trying local restaurants, and attempting to be creative—whether it’s sewing, making art, or cooking.

Together, we’ve house-sat twice, each time for about a month. One sit involved caring for the loveliest Tonkinese cat, and the other for two energetic rescue dogs of mixed breeds.

Ben grew up with multiple cats, dogs, rabbits, and chickens, while Kate had two dogs—one large and one small.

We’re looking for a welcoming, temporary place to call home and some friendly animals to smother with love while we wait for our apartment to be built.
