I’m Maddy ☺️

I’ll be in Queensland over the next few months house and pet sitting before settling into a long term rental!

I’ve recently relocated from Adelaide, where I worked for several years with an NDIS support provider (Your Choice Matters). My background in support work means I’m very responsible, patient, and attentive to individual needs. These are qualities I naturally bring into caring for people’s homes and pets!

I live a very calm, and simplistic lifestyle. I don’t smoke or drink, and I spend most of my time doing things like yoga, walking, running, reading, and writing ✍️ (I’m currently spending most of my time writing a book to eventually publish by the end of the year). I’m often at home, so your pets will have plenty of company, attention and love! ❤️

I am vegan because I absolutely love animals. I grew up on a sheep station riding horses and motorbikes, so I’m very comfortable around different types of animals and environments. I’ve cared for specifically both dogs and cats over the years, including:
- administering insulin injections
- giving medication
- managing different feeding routines

I’m also very happy to follow any specific instructions to make sure your pets are cared for exactly as you’d like. 🤗

While I wouldn’t say I’m naturally a green thumb, I’m reliable and will happily follow instructions to care for plants and keep your home well maintained! 🪴

I have my own car, I’m tidy, respectful, and I treat every home as if it were my own. There will be no other visitors at your house.

I understand how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your home and pets in someone else’s care, and I aim to make that process as easy and stress free as possible for you. I’m also happy to give you regular updates so you feel at ease! Photos, videos, etc!
