I'm Candice and I would love to offer my services as a professional house sitter and pet minder. I've grown up with many animals, including dogs (both large and small) cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and chickens. I get so much joy from looking after animals. I have experience in many different types of animals from farm animals to domestic pets all the way down to Mexican walking fish. I have an aunty who breeds show rottweilers and I have worked in a pet shop for a family friend who went on to breed greyhounds. I have a cheeky little cat named Terra (and she absolutely is) and I have done pet sitting and house sitting for many years. I can provide references for peace of mind when requested :)
I am very respectful of other people's property. I am also a professional cleaner so you can rest assured that your house will be clean and sparkling upon your return. I am absolutely open to doing long stays upon negotiation and requirements. So please reach out and ask if there is anything I have not put in here, because I'm up for the challenge and I'm willing to give it my all!
I have a wide range of availability at the moment so I can be very flexible. I am an Australian resident and permanently based in Melbourne near the base of the Mt Dandenong ranges. I'm not really much of a city girl tho I have to say, so if your looking for someone who enjoys the hustle and bustle of apartment-living city life I'm probably not the right candidate for you. I am much better suited to peace and quiet and wide-open spaces which is why I have chosen Country/within a country town as my preferred Mindahome locations.
My home stays will include lots of play time, cuddling, feeding, cleaning/grooming, medication, changing kitty litter, maintaining animal stalls. Monitoring behavior (in terms of the animal/s becoming distressed, hiding, not eating) and updates and photos to you as the owner.
