Hi everyone!

My name is Julia and I am an experienced house and animal sitter. I am originally from New Zealand, but have called Australia home for the past 7 years. In my spare time, I love to surf, hike, travel, eat good food, and hang out with animals! I also recently completed a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Newcastle, but have returned to my love of teaching English for the time being.

I grew up on a rural property with horses, dogs, birds, and cats, and I am happiest when surrounded by animals. I also have farmhand, gardening and landscaping experience. I have done multiple house sits over the years, and have had some wonderful experiences getting to see new places and care for so many special animals.

As I am taking time off until December, I would be able to give your pets all the love and attention they deserve. I love getting out and about, so if you have active pets who require a lot of walks, they will go on many adventures with me!

I am a reliable and trustworthy person who would treat your animals and home like my own. I understand that leaving your home and beloved pets in someone else's hands can be incredibly stressful. That is why while house sitting, the care taken towards your animals to ensure their well-being and the maintenance of your home is always my number one priority. I am also happy to look after properties that require garden maintenance, domestic cleaning or caring for farm animals like horses, chickens, or cows.
