We are a family of four returning to Australia after spending the past 12 years in Canada, and we’re incredibly excited for this next chapter.

House sitting isn’t new to us. Before moving to Canada, we spent time house sitting in Brisbane and absolutely loved the experience. In fact, we’re still in touch with one of the families we cared for all those years later, which we hope says something about the relationships we build and the care we take with people’s homes and pets.

We have extensive experience caring for homes and animals and understand how important it is to leave knowing everything will be well looked after. We take pride in keeping a home clean, tidy and secure, and we’re happy to follow your pet’s usual routines so they feel relaxed and settled while you’re away.

I work remotely from home, so your pets will have company for most of the day rather than being left alone. Our boys are 14 and 12, have grown up with our own much-loved Boston Terrier, and are gentle, respectful and very comfortable around animals.

We’ll be arriving in Australia on 11 November 2026 and initially staying with Michael’s parents in Woodgate while helping them prepare their home for sale. Our long-term plan is to purchase a home in Hervey Bay, so house sitting is a wonderful way for us to become part of the community, explore different neighbourhoods, and help homeowners while we search for the right property.

We’ll be available for sits from mid-January onwards and expect to be flexible for an extended period. If we happen to purchase a home during an agreed sit, we will of course honour our full commitment and complete the sit exactly as arranged.
