We’re Mateo Nicolaci and Heba Allurea Nicolaci, a husband-and-wife team who work from home full-time and genuinely enjoy caring for homes as if they were our own.

We are responsible, trustworthy, reliable, practical, and exceptionally clean. We take pride in treating every home with the same care, attention, and respect we would expect for our own. If something needs maintaining, keeping an eye on, or even a small fix here and there, we're the kind of people who quietly take care of things rather than leave them for someone else.

Although our profile on this site is new, we are not new to house sitting. We have completed numerous house-sits in Sydney, Mildura, and Adelaide, all arranged through word of mouth. We are happy to provide excellent personal, professional, and character references.

One thing that sets us apart is our attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness. We own a successful commercial cleaning business in Mildura and have had long-term staff working with us for over 10 years. Before growing the business, we personally carried out much of the work ourselves, and one of the most common comments we received from clients was simply: "Wow, immaculate cleaning." Those standards have never left us. We are meticulous by nature and genuinely enjoy keeping spaces clean, organised, and well cared for.

We spend most of our time on the Central Coast and currently have no pets of our own. We have one adult child who lives independently and may occasionally visit us for a coffee and a catch-up during a longer stay, and an 8-year-old who spends school holidays in Sydney.

Animals have been a huge part of our lives for over 22 years. Our extended furry, feathered, and scaly family has included Cruz the Staffy, Simbha, Poco and Willow the cats, Alex the Alexandrine parrot, Rex and Spike the bearded dragons, Bunty the goat, along with plenty of rabbits and quails over the years. We genuinely love animals and understand how important it is for them to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and settled while their owners are away.

We are currently looking for house-sitting opportunities between our caravan stays from December through January and are available for short or long-term sits, including both months in full. We are presently staying at Umina Caravan Park and would be delighted to meet in person if you'd like to show us around and have a chat beforehand.

We genuinely believe we are the complete package when it comes to house sitting: trustworthy, reliable, immaculate, loving with animals, respectful of people's homes, and excellent communicators. We know everyone says they are reliable, but reliability is one of our superpowers. When we commit to something, we show up and follow through.

More than one homeowner, landlord, and client has commented that we left a property looking better than when we arrived. We take that as a compliment, although it does make us laugh a little!

Most importantly, we understand that inviting someone into your home requires trust. Our goal is simple: for you to enjoy your holiday, family visit, or time away knowing your home, pets, plants, and belongings are being cared for as though they were our own.

We honestly believe we are about as close to the perfect house-sitting team as you'll find. Caring, dependable, clean, respectful, hardworking, and genuinely invested in doing an exceptional job.
