Hello ,
We are a responsible, trustworthy and mature retired couple who are excited to explore new places around Australia through house sitting. Having recently lost our beloved little poodle, we now have the flexibility to travel and would love the opportunity to care for your home and pets while you are away.
I am a former Registered Nurse who spent 25 years managing retirement villages. I have been a Justice of the Peace for 18 years and since retiring assist with a local winter shelter program, helping provide meals to people experiencing hardship. My husband, Michael, and I have been married for 45 years ( we married young back then :) . He previously worked with Border Force for over 15 years and shares my strong values of integrity, reliability and respect for others.
We are both house-proud, tidy and highly organised people who understand the importance of maintaining a home to a high standard. We owned a 5-acre hobby farm for many years where we cared for animals and managed a tractor & ride on mower. Over the years, we have regularly cared for friends' and B & B members' homes while they travelled overseas, and we appreciate the trust involved in leaving your property in someone else's care.
You can be confident that your home, pets and garden will be treated as if they were our own. We are more than happy to care for pets, water indoor plants and gardens, collect mail, and undertake any regular household tasks required to keep everything running smoothly during your absence.
Our aim is to provide complete peace of mind, knowing that your home is secure, well cared for and in capable hands while you enjoy your time away.
