I’m Tayla, a 24-year-old singing teacher, performer and freelance writer based in Adelaide, Australia.

I’m originally from South Africa and now call Australia home, and I love exploring different parts of this beautiful country. And house-sitting seems like a wonderful way to do that. Outside of work, I love music, walking, cafés, wineries, travelling and spending time by the beach.

I’ve always loved animals. I had my beautiful dog, Chubby, who I had to leave behind in South Africa when moving here. So I completely understand how important it is to find someone suited to care for your pet. So that they continue to feel safe, comfortable and loved. I’m very happy to follow their normal routines, whether that means walks, feeding, playtime, cuddles, medication or simply keeping them company. I’d also be more than happy to send regular photos and updates while you’re away!

I’m naturally very tidy and respectful of other people’s spaces, and I would treat your home with the same care I would want someone to give my own. As a singing teacher and freelance writer, I also enjoy quieter time at home, so I’m not someone who needs to be out from morning until night — particularly helpful for pets who enjoy having company.
