Hello there!

Brendan, myself and our little boy Billy (2.5 years) are having a break from 'normal' life and travelling Australia in our van looking for adventures.

We rented our house in Ocean Grove VIC to a lovely couple who are looking after it wonderfully. We appreciate that immensely.

We are both in the landscape / gardening industry and appreciate plants, gardens and nature as the integral fabric of our lives - including Billy boy of course.

We have had the pleasure of having dogs and rescue cats as part of the family all of our lives. Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to our blue heeler 'Django' (cancer) just before Billy was born. We still talk about him every second day. He was beautiful, loyal, handsome, tough and a teddy bear at the same time. Our rescue cats (Armando & Pablo) grew into lovely old boys who passed on comfortably within months of each other - we cherished the many years we had with them.

My husband’s family use to have a farm where he is well versed in looking after chickens, alpacas, sheep and they even had an exotic bird aviary :)

Our experience in house sitting is mainly in the airbnb area. We also enjoy regular house swaps with friends (between Melbourne city and our coastal town!) …Our airbnb rating is exemplary. And, I have also managed my mothers airbnb home from communications, check in, to cleaning, restocking etc.

Anyway, we are a quiet, friendly family who appreciate our wonderful opportunities. When chosen as house sitters we see this is an honour and a huge offering which we respect seriously and sincerely. Read more...
