We are Cass and Neil McKenzie, a family who will be living life a bit different to chase the Australian dream of travelling our beautiful country by full-time house and pet sitting with our 2 children.

I (Cass) am a passionate disability and mental health support worker with over seven years of experience caring for people, their homes, pets, children, routines, and day-to-day life needs. Caring comes naturally to me, and I bring that same attentiveness and respect into every home we care for.
Neil is a stay-at-home dad who homeschools our two youngest children. This allows us to live a more present, and family-focused lifestyle. We’ve learned how quickly children grow and how small the window is to truly be present before they start their own lives and families. This also means our schedule is very flexible and we are able to dedicate more time as companionship for your pets while you're away.
Our kids, Peyton and Blair, have been raised around animals and are gentle, respectful, and mindful of boundaries. They understand when to engage and when to give pets space and enjoy helping with routines, always under supervision.

Between us, we have hands-on lived and paid experience caring for a wide range of pets and are confident looking after large dogs, small dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, chickens and more.

We’re two parents in our late 30s with four children. Two of our children are grown up and living independently with their partners, and we’re currently raising our two younger children, aged 6 and 9.
We’re an active family who enjoys being outdoors, bike riding, walking, swimming, and spending time in nature. I (Cass) enjoy working out and going on daily walks/runs.

We love house and pet sitting, meeting new friends whether that's furred, feathered or human. Becoming full time pet sitters will allow us to step away from the constant rush of the nine to five and prioritise quality time together. Through homeschooling and travel, we’re wanting to give our children life experiences including new places, new animals, new communities, new people, new experiences and meaningful time together, knowing how quickly these years pass.

Being a family of four mean your pets will get so much love and attention. We are reliable, clean, respectful, with a calm caring nature, we care for every home and pet as if they were our own. You will come home to very happy pets and well cared for and clean home every time. Read more...
