I'm a retired Queensland business professional with my own car, non-smoker, fit and active for my age. I own a B&B guesthouse in Phang Nga, Thailand, with my Thai partner, Nong, who manages it. We travel back to Queensland twice a year to visit family in Brisbane (usually around April/May and September/October).

We have nine cats of our own and Nong has several dogs on her family farm, and we are experienced pet sitters with more than 50 5-star ratings on various house-sitting platforms in Queensland, NT, NSW, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and South Korea.

(Note: The reviews below were from when I was pet-sitting on my own in Queensland during the Covid pandemic. I recently reactivated my Mindahome membership as the house sits we did earlier this year in Queensland were done through Trusted Housesitters and Aussie House Sitters, but we noticed that Mindahome seems to offer more house sitting opportunities).

We are currently looking for house sitting opportunities in or around Cairns in the fist week of October, around Brisbane (Sunshine Coast down to Gold Coast in the middle of October) and Sydney end of October or early November.

We are both very good with with shy or nervous cats and small dogs, and have done many house sits with multiple cats including one house sit in Bundaberg with 20 cats and 8 newborn kittens (the owner operated a pet rescue). We have a large garden in Thailand and we are more than capable at basic house maintenance because that's part of the day-to-day business of running a guest house.

Our preferred house sit lengths are 1-2 weeks, but we are happy to look at shorter sits.
