Hi! We're Abby and Sophie, a Kiwi couple from Auckland who have moved to Sydney in winter 2024 and have been pet sitting full time ever since.

We were initially taking the opportunity to explore our new city by pet and house sitting while we got settled in, but loved it so much we've decided to keep going for the foreseeable future.

We're super excited to have jumped the ditch – we're both responsible, career driven, community focused (and animal loving) individuals looking to make the most of all opportunities that come our way.

We’re experienced with animals and pet sitting, we actually have our own cat back home who is having a wonderful time staying with family until we eventually find our own place and move her over. We’ve completed over 25 sits through various platforms which we can provide references for, with more lined up throughout 2026.

We’re responsible, reliable, communicative, clean and tidy people with extensive flatting experience. We are more than happy to go above and beyond, taking the utmost care of your pets and home, and leave it better than we found it :)

We're returning from our own travels through Europe, so we are both currently looking for new roles – meaning we’ll be around to keep your pets company and give them lots of love. Sophie has a background in tech sales, Abby in tech communications.

We've been together for over 4 years now! In our free time, we love taking long walks, exploring cities, travelling, exercising, going to concerts, spending time with friends and family, and trying new food together. As individuals, Abby enjoys reading, writing, pilates, cooking and baking, while Sophie is into gaming, going to the gym, films and shopping. Read more...
