I’m relocating to the area for an 18-month government contract and am looking to undertake house-sitting opportunities during this time. House-sitting is something I’ve been doing for several years and is a great fit while I settle into the area and explore different communities.
Over the past few years, I’ve completed a range of house-sitting arrangements, with strong availability during school holiday periods as well as at other times throughout the year. My experience includes caring for a variety of homes and pets, particularly dogs and cats, maintaining feeding and exercise routines, and ensuring the home remains secure, clean, and well-presented. I’m also comfortable in rural settings and happy to care for farm animals such as chickens and working dogs, and I’m at ease around livestock including sheep and cattle. I don’t mind assisting with light farm-related tasks where required.
I’ve previously been a pet owner myself, so I understand how important it is for animals to feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while their owners are away. I genuinely enjoy the companionship pets provide and take the time to ensure their routines and wellbeing are maintained.
Professionally, I work in project-based roles within government, and I regularly work from home. This means there is often someone present throughout the day, providing an added level of security and consistency for both your home and your pets. I bring a high level of organisation, reliability, and accountability into every house-sitting arrangement.
Having lived and travelled extensively across different countries and cities, I’m adaptable and respectful of different homes, lifestyles, and environments. I enjoy the opportunity to experience new areas and would welcome the chance to care for your home as if it were my own.
