Hi there - I’m a Melbourne-based, 47 year old, professional who’s keen to see how this website works!

Some background: I recently sold my place in the inner north to move a little further out, but instead I moved in with my folks to help them make some important and challenging changes. It’s been rewarding and tough, as most in the same position would know. I also have a thesis to submit by Feb. I would love to find a home to care for which could act as a tiny get away where I could write, recharge, eat, exercise and top up my tan.

I’m a nice, polite and very considerate fella. I’m a professional who’s lucky enough to work in the space he loves. I’m a criminologist working in a high-level position that I value a lot.

I’ve owned my own homes for 25 yrs +. I’ve also owned (mostly) Labradors (one was a beautiful LabXDane) for about the same amount of time. I don’t currently have a dog although I do spend a lot of time on adoption websites!

A mid-week day in my life looks like a long walk every AM (10km +), remote working, cooking a proper dinner, book or quite dinner with a mate. The weekends aren’t that different either! In summary - I have a low-key but meaningful life :)

I’m hoping I can bring some of my good energy to your home. I would very much welcome the chance to look after a dog or pet!

I’m keen for a stay over the Dec, Jan period. Extended stays are welcome!
