Hi, I’m Jessica – a born and bred Southern Highlands local with a deep love for animals and nature. I split my time between the Highlands and Borneo, Indonesia, where I volunteer long-term with orangutan conservation efforts. When I need to return to Australia to work and save for my next volunteering chapter, I come back to the Highlands to reconnect with family and friends and take up work in the local hospitality industry as a qualified chef.

Growing up on a farm, I was surrounded by a menagerie of animals – from dogs, cats, and rabbits to goats, cows, and birds – so caring for animals comes second nature to me. I’ve also had some vet nursing experience, so you can rest assured your beloved pets will be in safe, capable, and genuinely caring hands.

Whether I’m in the rainforest helping rehabilitate wildlife or back in the Highlands preparing meals and looking after furry friends, my heart is always with animals and the natural world. I’m warm, reliable, and respectful of the homes and pets I care for, and I look forward to meeting like-minded people along the way.
