We are David & Susan, active, non-smoking, retired professionals, married for 50 years, embarking on our long-awaited journey exploring this wonderful country of ours. We have recently sold-up after living in The Gap, Brisbane for 35 years, and now tow a hybrid pop-top camper with a Ford Ranger on our way to Busselton WA where we will build our new 'retirement home'. We look forward to exploring many new places and meeting new friends over the next several months, minding the homes of others along the way, giving you the same opportunity to escape for a while. Susan has had careers in veterinary parisitology, the Public Service, and as a Senior Social Worker in community health and a busy major Brisbane hospital . David also has had careers in the Public Service, and managing a large welfare service. We have had a number of much-loved feline fur-babies over the years, so if you need us to look after your pets or small farm animals, we will not betray your trust; we know your animals are a very important part of the family. Do you need gardens maintained or plants watered, we certainly can help with that too. Susan's parents owned a plant nursery, and she has inherited a wealth of knowledge. We have travelled the World, experienced many adventures, led successful careers, but now it's time to explore here at home and help others along the way. Read more...
