Hi, I’m Dan — a friendly, reliable house-sitter with a heart for animals, and an knack for keeping places tidy.

Originally from Sydney, I’ve called Melbourne home since 2010. I’m most at ease in nature - hiking, or simply walking with a good coffee in hand. I also love reading, meaningful conversations, and getting to the gym.

My career path has been a bit of a tapestry: I’ve run hotels, built a finance business, and spent the past 17 years as a priest. It’s been a rich journey centred on caring for people, listening deeply, and creating safe spaces - values I bring into house-sitting too.

I've had the privilege of looking after a range of beautiful dogs lately, including a large curly-haired retriever, a super-energetic border collie, a schnauzer, and two tiny cavoodles.

I’m neat by nature (some might say borderline OCD), so you can rest easy knowing your home will be spotless and well looked after.
