More information about this house sitter

We are full time travellers with a fully self contained caravan. We love spending time in local areas and getting to experience the community and local scenes rather than just travel and do the tourist sites. We both love gardening, and have many years experience at maintaining a clean and well looked after home and garden. In her earlier years Gayle was a dog instructor at an obedience club. In his earlier years David was born in the country and in his earlier years worked at many rural jobs. David is a welder and has numerous handyman skills; anything around the house or farm that needs looking after or fixing he can generally manage. Together we have built two homes and done several renovations. We are absolute pet lovers which is why we have a dog, as we couldn’t do life without a pet. We would look forward to meeting other peoples pets and caring for them as we would our own. We have previously owned rescue dogs which have required special consideration and are comfortable this. Clifford ( Cliffy) is a mixed breed; golden retriever poodle deerhound, he is well behaved and is exceptionally friendly. His nature has been helpful at some of our house sits in settling the owners dogs. He is use to living in a variety of situations and is happy to be contained around the caravan and crated when needed. When we house sit our priority will always be to the owners animals and homes. We do live in our caravan so any house sit requires space for a 19 ft caravan. We are happy to live in the van or if you prefer in your house. Read more...
