Hi,
we're David and Nikola, a friendly and reliable couple based in Dee Why on Sydney's Northern Beaches - and your potential pet and house sitters.
We are a Czech-Slovak couple with two great previous house-sitting experiences, which we absolutely enjoyed.

I am originally from Czechia and have been living in Australia for the past six years. I currently work as a Project Coordinator for a flooring company on the Northern Beaches. My wife Nikola is originally from Slovakia and works in the cleaning industry. We both love the area and have built our lives and careers here.

Australia has truly become our home. I am currently being sponsored by my employer and am on track to receive permanent residency within the next year, which leads to citizenship. We are settled, stable, and planning our long-term future here.

Outside of work, we enjoy an active lifestyle. We love grabbing a coffee, going for walks, hiking, camping, and spending time outdoors. We also enjoy going to the gym and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Animals have always been an important part of our lives. I grew up in a small village in Czechia in a family home with a garden, and I genuinely miss the feeling of caring for a house and outdoor space. My father trained police dogs, and German Shepherds were always part of our family. At times, we even had three dogs at home, so I have been around dogs for most of my life and understand the responsibility that comes with caring for them properly, as well as for the property.

My wife, Nikola, shares the same love for animals. Her family owns a Bichon Frise in Slovakia, and she has been actively involved in caring for him over the years, giving her plenty of experience with dogs and their daily needs.

Today, Nikola and I still enjoy spending time with dogs whenever we can. We regularly take our friends' Staffordshire Bull Terrier for walks and occasionally bring her along on camping trips and outdoor adventures. We understand how important routine, exercise, companionship, and affection are for pets.

We are both friendly, respectful, and easygoing people. Thanks to Nikola's experience in professional cleaning, maintaining a clean and tidy property comes naturally to us. We understand that inviting someone into your home requires trust, and we take that responsibility seriously.

We are currently seeking a long-term house-sitting opportunity, ideally 6–12 months or longer, preferably on the Northern Beaches or within a reasonable distance of our workplaces. Nikola is allergic to cats, so we are unable to accept house sits involving cats.

Although we are new to house-sitting websites, we do have previous house-sitting experience and would be happy for you to review our references and referrals.
