We are a reliable and caring family who have recently returned to the Peel region of WA after completing the “big lap” around Australia. It was an incredible experience that strengthened our love for travel, nature, and animals.
We have a 10-year-old daughter who is gentle, respectful, and has grown up around animals of all kinds. As a family, we genuinely love caring for pets and understand how important it is to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after while their owners are away.
Derek works full-time and Laura works part-time, and we pride ourselves on being organised, trustworthy, and highly respectful of other people’s homes. We are very tidy and clean, and you can feel confident your home will be well cared for.
Over the years, we’ve owned and cared for a wide range of animals including dogs, cats, chickens, sheep, goats, and guinea pigs. We are very comfortable with feeding routines, walking dogs, and providing plenty of attention and affection.
We have experience with Mindahome from both sides — we have previously used the platform while travelling and had wonderful house sitters care for our own home and animals, so we truly understand the importance of trust and communication.
While we’re now settled back in the Peel region with work and school commitments, we’ve kept our caravan for future travel. For this reason, we’re ideally seeking house sits that can accommodate parking for our caravan.
