Hi,
I'm a child-free 49-year-old English woman, and I've been living in Australia for 17 years (I am now an Aus citizen too).
Until now, I have always rented long-term accommodation, but due to the fact I'm keen to start spending a few months a year back in the UK, house sitting rather than long leases seems like a more flexible option.
I love cats - I have two but they now live with my ex-partner, and I miss them dearly, so I would love to house sit at a home with cats (although I'm OK with dogs too).
I also work from home as a sub-editor five days a week, so I'd be around to keep them company most of the time.
I have a partner who would probably also spend some time with me at the house, but we don't co-habit, so most of the time, I will be at the house alone.
As a more mature woman, I take responsibility very seriously and would take great care of your home, plants and cats (especially the cats!!).
I enjoy inner-city living (my last unit was in Fortitude Valley) or at least suburbs close to, and easily accessible to, the city.
Additionally, I am a non-smoker, and have no special requirements (except I would require WiFi to allow me to work).
