Hi, we are a mature couple who own a modern fully off the grid property in beautiful southern Tasmania . We moved here after 30 years working in senior government roles in Canberra . We raised our three daughters in the ACT. Two of our adult children live and work in Canberra and in August 2025 we became grandparents for the 2nd time.
As Homeowners and former Dog owners we have been on both sides of the MindaHome equation many times since 2016 - in Sydney, ACT and in Tasmania where we have lived since 2017. We have been house sitters for a family of 2 adults and 3 children in Sydney several times. The family gave us the privilege to be invited back to care for their 2 adorable dogs and 1 cat for almost 4 weeks mid 2024 while they traveled overseas.
We've been dog and cat parents all our adult lives and throughout our childhoods. We are both animal lovers and will be thrilled to be offered the trust to care for your pets and your home. Our attached photos show George Chihuahua and Bobbi Maltese, our most recent pet children who are no longer with us.
We always care for others homes as it it were our own. We owned and ran our Airbnb in Tasmania for 4 years until 2017 and have hard earned experience in what it means to see guests who appreciate and sadly guests who abuse the trust we afforded them of staying in our home.
