We are a couple from the Amalfi Coast in Italy, and we’ve been together for eight years. We’re active and love exploring new places, but we also deeply appreciate the quiet comfort of a cosy home, a good book, and a cup of tea.

We have been travelling around Australia for about a year now, combining our journey with meaningful pet-sitting experiences. Recently, we had the pleasure of caring for Molly, an adorable, playful, and incredibly loving dog who truly stole our hearts. Saying goodbye to her at the end of the sit was not easy at all. We also looked after Pixie and Ziggy, two adorable cats in Sydney, another wonderful experience that enriched our journey even more. Before that, we spent four months in Albany, WA, looking after a wonderful dog named Simba. It was a long and rewarding experience that allowed us to build a strong bond and fully immerse ourselves in a home routine, which we truly value.

We both grew up surrounded by animals. Dorotea has four dogs back home in Italy, they are a big part of her life and what she misses most. Pasquale, on the other hand, grew up on a small farm with chickens, cows, pigs, and many cats and dogs always around. Caring for animals has always come naturally to both of us.

Through our travels, we realised how much we missed having animals around us, which is why we chose to include pet sitting in our journey. It allows us not only to keep exploring Australia, but also to share the love, care, and attention we naturally give to animals.

We particularly enjoy longer house sits, as they give us the opportunity to create a routine, build trust, and form a genuine connection with the pets. We are absolutely comfortable with long-term commitments and treat every home with the utmost respect and care, as if it were our own.

We are currently in Queensland and already have some incredible pet-sitting opportunities lined up. Our plan is to keep exploring as we make our way up to Cairns for our first scheduled sit.
