Hi there! We’re Tirza and Elmar — a responsible, kind-hearted couple who absolutely love animals, nature, and peaceful living.

Tirza, originally from the Netherlands, has called Australia home for over 40 years. She’s spent time working on a permaculture farm where she cared for chickens, ducks, geese, goats, horses, donkeys, and a very cuddly cat — and loved every moment of it. Elmar is originally from Venezuela, with German roots, and brings a gentle, calming energy that animals naturally respond to. Back home, he shared his life with a beautiful Labrador and even a monkey!

We’ve also had the joy of caring for our landlord’s dog while she was away, and honestly — we talk to and cuddle nearly every dog we meet on the street! They seem to sense our love and gravitate toward our energy.

We’re spiritual and grounded — practicing daily meditation, yoga, and living in alignment with the natural rhythms of life. We love exploring new places, connecting with new people, and equally appreciate our quiet time in nature — whether by the sea or in the mountains. Tirza enjoys swimming and dancing, while Elmar is a passionate surfer, rock climber, and lover of the outdoors.

We are reliable, honest, and will care for your pets and your home with deep respect and attention. Your peace of mind is our priority, and we’re more than happy to provide references on request.
