I’m a 40-year-old professional who works from home in an administrative role.

I’ve decided to give house sitting a go and have my first sit confirmed from 27 October to 12 December 2026.

I have two tiny, friendly dogs of my own — Becca, a 6-year-old Toy Poodle, and Boston, a 2½-year-old Cavoodle. They’re indoor/outdoor dogs, friendly and well socialised. They enjoy walks and days out, get along well with other pets, and are just as happy relaxing at home with me.

I have a 19-year-old son who lives full-time with his dad, so it’s just me and my two little companions.

As I work from home, I need a small area where I can set up my laptop and work during the day. This also means I’m home most of the time and can give your pets plenty of company, attention and care.

I’m naturally very clean and tidy and like things organised.

I’m happy to help with general upkeep around the home, such as caring for plants, lawns and basic pool maintenance. I have a small Willow bonsai of my own, which will be coming along with us.

I’m respectful of other people’s homes and would treat your home and pets with the utmost care and respect. I’d be more than happy to send regular photos and updates while you’re away, so you can see how your pets are going and have peace of mind that they’re happy and well cared for.

I’m particularly interested in longer-term house sits, although I’m open to shorter sits where the dates and location work well.

I have a trip booked from 3–10 July 2027, so I’ll just need to work around those dates.

Pet care
I have experience caring for family and friends’ pets while they’ve been away, as well as many years of caring for my own pets. I currently have two small dogs, Becca, a Toy Poodle, and Boston, a Cavoodle, and I’ve also owned cats in the past.
I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime and keeping pets to their usual routines, and I have experience administering pet medication when needed.
I work predominantly from home, so I’m around during the day and able to give pets plenty of company and attention. I’m happy to follow owners’ instructions and make sure their pets are well cared for while they’re away. Read more...
