If you've found your way here, you're probably looking for someone you can genuinely trust to look after your pets while you're away. I'm Bianca, and caring for animals and homes has become a surprisingly big part of my life over the last five years.

I didn't set out to become a professional pet and house sitter, but after my first house sit I realised how much I loved it. I don't have pets or children of my own yet, so I really value getting to experience all the different personalities that come with looking after other people's animals — from energetic dogs who want to spend the day outside, to cats who are happiest curled up beside you with a book. I love the quieter parts too: keeping a home tidy, watering plants, gardening and making sure everything is looked after just as the owner left it.

I'm currently completing my degree part time while doing freelance research work, much of which I can do from home. This means I have a flexible schedule and can usually spend a lot of time with the animals I'm caring for. I'm comfortable with pets who need plenty of company, regular walks, medication or specific routines, as well as more independent animals who are happy doing their own thing.

For house sits, I take care of the everyday things that keep a home running — feeding and walking pets, cleaning litter trays, watering plants and gardens, bringing in mail, putting bins out and generally keeping everything clean and secure. I'm also very happy to send regular photos and updates while you're away. For me, that's part of the service: you shouldn't have to wonder how things are going at home.

I'm particularly happy caring for dogs and cats, including older animals and pets with individual routines or quirks. I'm also comfortable with other household pets and plants, so feel free to get in touch and tell me what you need.

I know leaving your home and pets with someone else can feel like a big leap of trust. My aim is to make that part easy — by being dependable, communicating well and treating your pets and home with the same care I'd want someone to give mine.

I'd love to become someone you can come back to whenever you need a sitter, rather than having to start the search all over again.
