Hi there
My name is Laura and I'm a voice coach currently based between my own place, Australia and London, going back and forth, as I have family in both places and need to travel for work, so I like to try to stay near family in Australia.
I also travel back to the U.S for work throughout the year, after living & studying there for some years.

I've helped start up and manage a family members airbnb, I house sit for friends, family and others, have lived in apartments, and flat shares in different countries over the years whilst studying and working.
Wherever I am residing, maintaining a very clean space is key, so I fully understand how important it is from a hosts perspective to have guests in a home who nurture and respect the space by maintaining a clean home & property.
I clean and maintain it as I do my own by keeping everything nice, clean and taking pet parent nurturing level care of the pets so they are comfortable being in their home.

As I'm work focused and it takes a lot of my energy, I like to enjoy peaceful calm down time in the privacy of a homely environment, spending time looking after and nurturing a pet, going for walks etc.

I love being with and taking care of animals. Ever since my Jack Russell Mango passed away years ago, I have looked after friends, plus neighbours pets & have wanted to adopt a pet again, however with the travelling internationally back & forth it is easier to care for others pets for now until am more settled.

I wfh, sometimes with clients on different timezones, so good for being at home to look after the pets. I also work with people in person, dependent on what suits each individual person.
I work with people in various fields who feel they need or want to work on their voice/vocal confidence for their line of work, with people from the performing arts to corporate work environments.

I travel to do professional gigs/performances, run masterclasses and workshops, wherever I need to be for my work.

I also love films, exhibitions, reading, museums, writing and hiking.

I would like to house sit because I love animals and dearly miss parenting my dog for many years. I just love looking after animals, as it is fulfilling with how endlessly lovely they are to be around with their love, their own personalities, sense of humour and positive energy!

Due to the nature of my work with having to travel back & forth, it is easier to care for others pets for now until am more settled.

House sitting allows me to reside in a homely private, solitude environment to work, when travelling and preparing for work, and to have time and space to write, also making it easier to stay near family when I travel.

With my own experience of caring full time for my Jack Russell (especially when he got unwell as he got older) I am extremely organised and disciplined with feeding times, how many walks etc, and any other medicinal or care requirements a pet needs so they feel comfortable and safe being able to reside in their home.

A few years ago at my home, our next door neighbours had someone move in with a big beautiful Labrador retriever Charlie, who wasn't being walked daily due to their schedules, so I asked the neighbour's if I could take him on my daily walk/runs with me & they were happy for me to. From then on, after taking Charlie on his daily exercise, the neighbours were happy for me to bring him back to our place & for me to feed Charlie, then he enjoyed staying to play and have his rest time.
I would then take him back next door or he'd be picked up after they would finish work. He had so much energy so was beautiful to see Charlie release all that energy on his daily walks. He also loved the water & running so daily dips in the sea became his little pawfect schedule!
