Hello! Nice to meet you.

We are a family from Adelaide, South Australia: Lachlan, Susannah, Ewan (17), Ruth (14) and Archie (9). We are seeking house-sitting opportunities in the Perth area during the September/October 2026 school holidays and would love the opportunity to care for your home and pets while you are away.

In everyday life, Lachlan is a high school teacher at a Christian school and Susannah works as a canteen officer at the same school.

As a family, we love travelling and have explored extensively around Australia, Canada, Mexico and the USA. We have often stayed in other people's homes during our travels, so our children understand the importance of respecting other people's space, belongings and routines.

We are experienced house sitters, pet owners and animal lovers. We currently have three cats and some chooks, and over the years we have also cared for dogs and other pets. We have completed successful house sits in Hobart, Melbourne and Sydney, caring for both cats and dogs in homes ranging from city apartments to large family houses.

Our reviews on Aussie House Sitters are from dog sits, but we also have references from a cat sit and excellent Airbnb references that we are happy to provide.

We pride ourselves on being reliable, tidy and respectful guests. We genuinely enjoy caring for animals and making sure they feel relaxed, safe and well looked after while their owners are away.

Outside of travelling, we enjoy cooking, exploring new food, reading, creative projects, parks and picnics, and spending time together with friends and family.
