I'm recently (and intentionally) itinerant, having sold my 100 acre block last year for a life on the road with a small well-equipped caravan and a friendly small dog (pictured). On my previous property, I lived simply and comfortably off grid, ran a small herd of cattle, grew some vegetables, worked remotely, and did most things myself.
As well as experience with my cattle and dog, I’ve looked after, to varying degrees, working dogs, house dogs, cats, guinea pigs, larger herds of cattle, horses, ponies, rams, sheep, donkeys, fish, as well as gardens and house plants. I’m handy with electric fencing, basic repairs, zero-turn and other mowers, irrigation systems and more.
Ideally, I’ll be looking after a small or large rural property and living in my caravan, (although access to power, water and perhaps a bathroom would be nice). All my previous farm sits have offered references.
My calendar is currently clear for August. I’m in FNQ now and booked for a house sit in Toowoomba in September.
