Hello! Nice to meet you.

We are Lachlan and Archie, a father-and-son team from Adelaide, South Australia. We are seeking house-sitting opportunities in Sydney (or maybe Brisbane) during the July 2026 school holidays and would love the opportunity to care for your home and pets while you are away.

In everyday life, Lachlan is a high school teacher at a Christian school.

As a family, we love travelling and have explored extensively around Australia, Canada, Mexico and the USA. We have often stayed in other people’s homes during our travels, so our children understand the importance of respecting other people’s space, belongings and routines.

We are experienced pet owners and animal lovers. We currently have two cats and some chooks, and over the years we have also cared for dogs and other pets. We have completed several successful house-sits, including:

We are comfortable caring for different types of homes, from apartments to large family houses, and we pride ourselves on being reliable, tidy and respectful. We genuinely enjoy caring for animals and making sure they feel relaxed and well looked after while their owners are away.

Outside of travelling, we enjoy cooking, exploring new food, reading, creative projects, parks and picnics, and spending time together with friends and family.
