-> Introduction
We are two sisters, Anna-Lena (24 years) and Sonja (20 years), and cannot remember a period in our lives that we have spent without animals.
We are both university students.
We have both gained experience house-sitting as a team and alone.
Our home is always neat, organized, and clean, just as we would like to take care of your home.
We neither smoke nor drink.
We are laid-back and love traveling slowly and consciously. Getting to know nature in different places over and over again fascinates us, whether it’s going for a walk, hiking or swimming. And exploring cities and cultures is just as fascinating.

-> Our Experience
Since our childhood, we have had the opportunity to get to know three wonderful and very different dachshunds. And in the meantime, our cat, now already 13 years old, has joined them. They have all lived with us in our family home.
In August 2021, our last dachshund unfortunately passed away. But not only that, when we were younger, we also had both rabbits and guinea pigs, and we still have 8 chickens!

Through our own vegetable and ornamental garden, we are very familiar with caring for flowers, trees, shrubs, and other plants, which also find a place in the house in the form of potted plants.

Then, in mid-December 2021, Anna-Lena had her first house-sit with three wonderful cats. Following this great experience, we have had multiple different house-sits over the years and can confidently say that it was the best decision to start.
Up until the beginning of December 2024, we only house-sat in Europe with the platform troustedhousesitters, but now we are currently in New Zealand and would love to also experience the wonderful country of Australia.

-> Why we want to housesit
As I mentioned at the beginning, we have been living with animals since our childhood and can’t imagine life without these faithful companions. Now we have discovered traveling for ourselves and see house-sitting as the perfect way to combine our love for animals and the desire to discover new places.
We are looking forward to getting to know your animal and its character, because of course, every animal is individual, just like us humans.

We have already gained experience with animals of every age. With our 13-year-old cat and our dog who passed away three years ago, we know exactly what older animals need. We would also like to take care of younger animals, and we have gained experience with them through house-sitting. Read more...
