Hi! I'm Maddie. I'm 29, and I've cared for more than 30 different animals through my pet and house sitting adventures.

I lived in Melbourne from 2017 to 2023, missed it, and have
just moved back.

I'm looking for pet and house sits for at least the next couple of weeks while I settle in, and I'd love to look after your home and animals.

I'm a social worker and can do a lot of my work from home, so I'm home a lot and your pets will have plenty of company. I take a lot of pride in my work and feel very passionate about
it.

I absolutely adore animals. I've mostly looked after cats and dogs of all sizes and breeds, and I've had a steady rotation of sitting bookings for the last six years in both Brisbane and Melbourne.

Animals are the sweetest company, and as a woman living on my own, they give me a sense of safety and security too.

- Multiple pets: comfortable caring for several animals at once.
- Medication: experienced with pets who need medication, and careful with doses and
timing.
- Routines and quirks: I learn and stick to each pet's routine, diet and personality.
- Transport: full driver's licence and my own car, so I can get to the vet if needed.
- Calm in an emergency: current First Aid and CPR training and years of crisis work mean I stay calm and act quickly.

I'm a very clean and tidy person and super respectful of other people's space and privacy, especially in their homes.

Years of nannying and managing busy family households mean I'm on top of cleaning, dishes, laundry and keeping things in order.

I grow my own vegetables, so I'm happy to water plants and keep an eye on the garden too.

I love house sitting because I get to experience all sorts of homes, neighbourhoods and
animals. It keeps life interesting, and every sit feels like a little adventure.

I'm relaxed, quiet and reserved, and warm and gentle by nature, which suits caring for
animals well. I enjoy cooking, travelling, reading, music, film, art, exercise, yoga, fishing, gardening and being in nature.

I've travelled to more than 30 countries and lived in England, Brisbane and Melbourne for long periods.

I can provide plenty of references, a National Police Check and anything else you need. I also hold a Working with Children Check and an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
