Hi, we are a couple in our 60’s, I still work full time in a Client Director role in the Telecommunications/IT industry, my husband Jeff is a semi-retired house painter. We live one hour out of Wellington on the Kapiti Coast. We have 2 adult sons who we are immensely proud of who live in Kensington in Sydney. We live with 2.5 acres of land in a 90’s house which we have spent the last 7years renovating which is something we love to do. Earlier this year I took a beginners course in golf so that I could play with my sons when we get together, I enjoy it so much that I am out most weekends. I am also a walker and have done many of the great walks in NZ. Jeff is likely to be found pottering around at home working in the garden or on our renovating. We both love to travel and are always planning on where to go next once we return home. We both love animals and still feel the loss of our gorgeous fur girl who passed away last year. When the boys were young, we have 13 acres and had a menagerie of animals however now that we want to spend more time travelling, we are at home with only the birds that frequent us and the fish in the pond.
We house sat in Sydney in North Ryde last year for 1 month and will be looking to house sit in the Eastern Suburbs this summer to be a little closer to our sons. The people we house sat for last year are happy to be a reference for us. Read more...
