I am a former nature journalist and teacher from London, UK on a big quest for a new home! I spent most of last year pet sitting my way around Victoria and NSW and would love to do it again this year!

I am looking to house sit ideally for a month or longer for a wonderful person/family from ***23 February 2026*** onwards in Sydney, NSW.***

I have looked after 10 gorgeous cats, 5 adorable dogs and 2 tanks of small fish in Australia. Most of these opportunities were found through Aussie House Sitters where I have loads of positive reviews, some through Facebook, and a couple from other house sitting platforms. All of these experiences have bought me so much joy. I am experienced in looking after a wide range of cats and dogs, from shy and anxious rescues cats, to small, hyperactive dogs and larger, heavier dogs that weigh around 25kg..! I treat each animal and experience accordingly.

My friends and family would describe me as warm, friendly, intelligent, kind and inspirational. I'd say I'm a creative ambivert who loves reading, writing, hiking, conversations over cups of tea and learning about new cultures and practices. I am a clean and tidy person, do not smoke or drink, but do like to cook. I am trying to be healthy but I have a wicked sweet tooth 🥲 and I am trying to opt for a bag of oranges over a box of chocolate.

I would love for us to do a video call to get to know each other first. If you're around for a part of the house sit, I normally like to cook my host(s) a dinner - really nice Bengali curries, not spicy but definitely flavourful - to share my culture and thank them for hosting me. 😊 All my hosts have loved my dishes and a couple have asked for the recipe.
