I am a single lady excited to begin a new life adventure now that my 3 children have all grown up. I have always been an enthusiastic animal lover and enjoy exploring new places, so house sitting seems like a perfect way of life for me.
My faithful companion is a 3 year old well behaved german shepherd cross named Tilly. She is an outside, crate trained girl and very friendly wIth other dogs and children. She is also used to cats and chooks. I am planning a road trip in my campervan with Tilly beginning this September when I retire.
Family pets have always been an essential part of my life. In addition to my own pets, (dogs, cats, guinea pigs, birds and fish) I have also been entrusted to care for my family's and friend's pets often.
For the past year and a half I have been house sharing/sitting in Cairns for a friend and her cat (she travels regularly) so she is happy to provide references if required.
I do volunteer dog walking for the Young Animal Protection Society and Animal Care for Seniors at Home.
I love all animals and nature, and my dream is to one day own a little hobby farm or animal sanctuary.
I also enjoy gardening which I learnt a lot about when I helped my wonderful dad in his nursery and landscape gardening business. I'm still young enough to push a mower if required, and I love bush walking, camping and swimming, especially with furry friends!
I am a genuine, kind-hearted and honest person with a happy, friendly, easy going personality. I am clean and tidy and very considerate of other people and their property. I believe in treating others the way I like to be treated.
I'm looking forward to sharing my love of animals through my house sitting experiences, and hoping to give you the peace of mind you need when you have to leave your fur babies and your home. Read more...
