We're currently doing house/pet sits in & around Brisbane as we've recently moved back here. If you're looking for a reliable and responsible couple for your house & pet sitting needs, please read on!

Brad is a primary school teacher and Belinda is an Education Assistant. We enjoy travel & adventure and have even lived and worked overseas as English Language Teachers. We love getting out into nature, shopping at local farmers markets and, of course, drinking coffee at cool cafes! Though we’ve previously had pets, we’re currently not pet owners.

HOUSE SITTING EXPERIENCE
We've been on several house/pet sitting adventures this year and quickly gaining experience caring for a variety of homes and pets. We’ve met some lovely people and loveable pets : )

We understand the importance of maintaining a clean, secure, and well-cared-for home and property. We will look after it, like we would our own. This includes regular household chores, watering indoor plants and garden/lawn maintenance as needed. We’ve stayed in a few house rentals and always ensured the property is kept in a similar condition to when we moved in. As such, we've always had good references from property managers.

We also keep an eye on things on the home front and are quick to communicate with you if there are any issues that come up. On a previous house sit, we had a lot of rain and needed to drain the pool a little. We were on the phone with the owners and sorted it in no time…flood averted!

PET CARE
We make sure we are clear on expectations and responsibilities around pet care. One thing we like to do is send regular video and/or photo updates of your pets for your peace of mind. You can rest assured that your pets are in good hands and will be well looked after.

Here are some examples of pets we have looked after:
- A pretty relaxed cat who loved a good head scratch! We kept an eye on her food and water as well as cleaned & refreshed the litter. She was an indoor only cat so we were always careful when going outside.
- A fox terrier X shih tzu who is about 14 years old. We fed him every morning and evening with a few treats in between. We gave him regular pats, rubs and personal attention.
- A friendly affectionate golden retriever who loved his daily evening walks. He loved chasing the water when we watered the garden which was kind of fun!
- 2 young excitable Groodles X Cavoodles (Groodalier). We took them for daily walks and a trip to the dog park. We also encouraged playtime in the backyard with zoomies, chasing the ball and wrestling with each other. They loved their treats and soaked up pats and rubs, often competing with each other to get more!
