Hello, I am currently living in Canberra and working full time in the public service, though I will be retiring soon.

For most of my life I’ve lived with cats, particularly two Burmese with big personalities who lived to around 20 years. When younger, my family had two cats and an affectionate Golden Retriever.

My job allows me to work fully remotely so I am looking to take advantage of this by house sitting in different areas while I keep working. I am approaching retirement this year so I am looking to travel more and live in different places.

In my twenties I went backpacking overseas three times, staying in hostels and really enjoyed meeting other travellers, exploring new places and living in the moment.

Now I have more time I am looking forward to similar experiences but at the slower pace than house sitting offers. Plus the bonus of cuddling and playing with your furry friends.
