Friendly, reliable house and pet sitter

I am 35 years old and work as a lecturer at the University of Wollongong. I work mostly remotely.
I recently brought a house in Bathurst, where I am originally from, but I am waiting until the tenants move out before I move back... which brings me to my housesitting journey!

We had to leave our last rental in March (due to owner selling) so I have been filling the time since, house sitting around the Wollongong/Nowra/Sydney region. I have been loving the experience so far.
This has involved looking after both cats and dogs - and keeping the houses clean and tidy. I pride myself on making sure the houses I stay at look lovely when the owners come back, which includes the plants (both indoor and outdoor) looking healthy, lawns mowed, and everything as it was. I also make sure to have staples like milk and bread in the cupboard/fridge and a meal ready for them to heat up.

I have lots of experience looking after homes and pets. I have cared for dogs of different breeds on many different occasions, which filled a lovely gap until I got my own groodle (Chook). She is one year old, and other than a bit cheeky, a very gorgeous girl. She is staying at my parents house while I am housesitting (with lots of video calls in between!).
I have grown up surrounded by pets - cats, dogs, donkeys, chooks... and one point hermit crabs. I am very comfortable around animals and feel confident looking after them.
I also have a lot of experience looking after homes. I have house sat before and I always strive to maintain a very clean and tidy house. I have worked as a professional cleaner before (both in a 5 star resort and in domestic settings) so I am very capable at cleaning.
I also have experience gardening (mowing, weeding, watering etc) and have a thriving indoor plant collection. Read more...
