Hi! I’m Shivani, and I’m based in Sydney’s Eastern and Inner West.
I’ve been house and pet sitting since May 2024, and when I’m not pet-sitting, I work at an advertising agency and can work from home. I also do 3-4hr shifts as a carer.
I don't smoke and have a car. My son is in my care on a week-on, week-off basis, and if I feel it’s appropriate, he will pet-sit with me. He’s a great help and a fantastic ball thrower for dogs!

I’ve had the pleasure of looking after all sorts of pets over the last year —dogs, cats, and even a budgie named Murray! I know it can be stressful to leave your home and pets behind, so I make sure to keep you updated with lots of photos and videos, so you don’t have to worry.

You can count on me to look after your pets like they’re my own. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, giving meds (if needed), or even watering plants and collecting mail, I’m happy to help out in any way I can.

Shivani has looked after our home and our cat Mischa a number of times. While we were away she reliably sent us pictures of her and we could see our feeding instructions were carried out. We came home to a tidy house and with fresh sheets on our bed, and we were very pleased to see Mischa, our cat looking content and well cared for. I am pleased to write this reference for Sivani, who in January stayed in my house for just over three weeks with her son Arlo and cared for my dog Orbi while I was away. Shivani was an exceptional dog sitter, and I could not be happier with the experience.
When I returned home, the house was immaculate. Everything was in perfect order, and it was clear that Shivani took great care to ensure that my home remained tidy and welcoming, especially the bathroom which had obviously been scrubbed). This attention to detail was greatly appreciated.
Additionally, it was clear that my dog had bonded with Shivani during the time she was sitting. Orbi was calm, happy, and well-cared-for when I returned. It was wonderful to see how quickly they formed such a positive connection, and it gave me peace of mind knowing my dog was in good hands.

Shivani and her son Arlo did a really great job looking after our often anxious rescue dog, Zero. They got to know and understand him and were caring about his fear of fireworks and storms. When we returned, Zero was clearly very comfortable with Shivani and Arlo and they'd formed a lovely bond. Our house and garden were looked after and Shivani communicated regularly with us about Zero and any queries that arose. As we were away during some very hot Sydney weather, we were relieved our garden and indoor plants had been watered and kept alive. Most importantly, Zero was in tip top shape and had no ill effects from the New Year's Eve fireworks! Read more...
