Bernard and I are both registered psychologists (our registration includes a criminal history check) from Queensland who love animals, travel, bushwalking, music, and meeting new people. Bernard is pretty handy in the garden and we both like birdwatching and photography.

We have rented out our home, bought a second-hand caravan, and are currently taking our time to travel Australia whilst working via telehealth a few days a week. Our plans (dates, location, work hours) are flexible. Living in the caravan’s confined quarters (and, before travelling, in our renovated cottage-type Queenslander), we are used to being clean, tidy, organised, and house proud. Saying that, we are not high maintenance, love bush camping, and are used to time spent with limited amenities.

We have lots of experience fostering dogs, first through a rescue that rehomed dogs and cats of all breeds, and then through a rescue focused on ex-racing greyhounds 🙂 Puppies to seniors, Jack Russels to Great Danes, and dogs with medical/behavioural issues (including deafness, rescue from neglect, high prey drive, and resource guarding) we have encountered it! I grew up with cats and gained a lot of housesitting experience in my 20s whilst a uni student. I also volunteered with the dogs at the RSPCA many moons ago.

We are more than happy to stay in your home, or in the caravan if you prefer and if there is space (external length is 5.5m).
