Retired Resort Management Couple that now just prefer to care for pets & property.
We started pet sitting when we worked as Relief Management for Resort Managers / Owners. We would operate their business and care for their pets while they took their annual holidays. The experiences and enjoyment we received from caring for the pets is why we decided to join here.
We are now self funded retirees and travel between Australia and Japan. Emi is originally from Japan.
We are based on the QLD & NSW border, non smokers, non drinkers and have a reliable AWD car.
We are empty nesters and could never commit to pets as our employment was so transient in the Resort Industry.
We really enjoy getting to know the pets and the different personalities they have. They all have characters and with enough time there's always a connection. The property and pet caring also has the advantages of taking us to places that we might never have thought of visiting. There is also the random interesting people and other pets you meet while doing a sit.
Overall we've had a great experience doing our sits so far.
We are both clean people, don't smoke & don't drink. Being previously employed as Property Managers in the past we know what property owners expect. We have a lot of property maintenance experience from the Resorts so pools & spas are not a problem for us to maintain. We can follow any instructions or procedures that the pets or property require.
