My husband and I have been married for 35 years, quite fit and energetic. My husband worked as a Operations and Project Manager in the Industrial Power backup systems industry for 24 years. He is also an avid recreational pilot. We owner built our own home and lived on our 140 acre off-grid property for 13 years. After our two sons married we moved to an apartment on the Gold Coast where we lived for 8 years. Although most of my career has been in Nutritional and Natural Medicine, I have also enjoyed the experience of working part-time in holiday letting in high rises on the Gold Coast. My husband and I decided to leave work and sell up and buy a caravan. We are 24 months into our new amazing life on the road and loving every minute of it. During this time we have had the privilege of housesitting both rural acreage and urban properties for several months at a time. We have managed all sorts of unexpected situations that have arisen while housesitting. With my husband being very handy maintenance man we offered to do some repairs to the house which the owners took us up on and greatly appreciated. We have owned many beautiful pets over the years but have chosen to travel without pets and enjoy meeting and caring for other people's pets on our journey.
