I am a mature age, super busy professional, working full time in Canberra in the Public Service. My partner Mark and I live in a little cottage in Queanbeyan, just over the border from Canberra. We have 2 young adult children, one of whom lives at home and the other now in Melbourne, continuing her studies. We have 2 beautiful cats - Honey & Harry, and have 6 chickens who are an absolute delight. All bring a lot of love and happiness to daily life.

We enjoy walks, reading, music, gardening, movies, a glass of vino at the end of the day, and on weekends, socialising with friends. We love to travel, exploring new places and cities, and love the country side. We both love all animals, but especially cats, dogs, and me -farm animals too.

Homeminding and petsitting for me, is a perfect way for an affordable short break as I focus on saving for future retirement. While looking after your pets, apart from short trips exploring the local shops for a morning coffee or food supplies, the focus will be on being a homebody, using the time in between walks with your pet/s for just a bit of R&R away from a busy work and home life.

I / we are respectful, clean, tidy, and reliable people, and your home will be looked after as we do our own. As importantly, your pets will be looked after with affection, kindness, love, and fed/medicated according to instructions. They will be walked, exercised, and played with - exactly as they are accustomed to, and whatever their activity levels are - we will meet.

I would hope to be able to travel with my partner, Mark, but may alternatively travel solo, depending on location, dates, and what might suit the housesitting position.
